If Jeff Garcia can't play Sunday because of his calf injury, should Brian Griese or Luke McCown be the Bucs' starting quarterback? Both have their pros and cons:
Brian Griese
Age: 33
NFL experience: 11th year
Career highlight: Made the Pro Bowl with the Broncos in 2000.
Career lowlight: Threw four interceptions during Chicago's 16-7 loss against Detroit last season.
Strengths: Knows how to manage a game; does not play scared; throws a very accurate short pass.
Weaknesses: Throws too many interceptions (99 in his career); lacks mobility.
Luke McCown
Age: 27
NFL experience: Fifth year
Career highlight: Threw 15 consecutive completions against New Orleans last season.
Career lowlight: Was sacked four times the next week against Houston during a 28-14 loss.
Strengths: Has a strong arm; can scramble out the pocket; never has voiced his displeasure about playing time.
Weaknesses: Questionable decision-making; lacks playing experience.
