--Coach Jon Gruden did acknowledge that backup quarterbacks Luke McCown and Garcia could get some repetitions this week in preparation for Sunday's game at Denver.
"We're going to try to split the reps up and get all three guys some work," Gruden said.
He also said he believed the Bucs would need all three quarterbacks at some point during the season, including Garcia, who has been the inactive third quarterback the past three games.
"Garcia was our starter and might be our starter again at some point in time," Gruden said.
--S Jermaine Phillips credits Derrick Brooks for his 38-yard fumble return for a touchdown in the third quarter. The play was made possible when Brooks forced RB Ryan Grant to fumble.
"It was a zone coverage and Brooks made a good hit," Phillips said. "I was just coming in to cap off, because that's what we're taught to do. ... (The ball) was on the ground, so I just said, 'Let me just pick this up and go the other way.'"
--Umpire Bruce Stritesky didn't show up in the box score, but unofficially he had a pass defensed and an assisted tackle. Stationed behind the defensive line at the snap, he took a Brian Griese pass intended for Warrick Dunn off the face with 5:51 remaining in the first quarter. Ten plays later, he was decked when Packers QB Aaron Rodgers hit TE Donald Lee for a 6-yard gain over the middle and LB Barrett Ruud and S Jermaine Phillips swarmed in for the tackle.
--QB Brian Griese acknowledged that he has to cut down on his turnovers. "I can't make those mistakes and I have to eliminate those things for us to continue to win," Griese said. "Thankfully, we were able to win the past two weeks, but I have to fix that."
