--Injuries are becoming a factor for the Bucs as they limp toward the bye week following Sunday's game at Kansas City. While the Bucs welcomed back receiver Joey Galloway, who missed five games with a foot sprain, several other offensive standouts were limited in the game. Warrick Dunn, who has a pinched nerve in his neck, had just one rushing attempt in the game. Ike Hilliard, who suffered a concussion a week earlier against Seattle, also played.
"(Dunn) played yesterday, but clearly wasn't himself," Gruden said. "I love that guy. What he and Ike Hilliard did yesterday for our team, our fans and this organization speaks volumes. Their presence means a lot. Their performance means a lot. Hopefully they have a good week of practice and hopefully they feel much better and can perform to the standard that they're capable of performing from a health standpoint. They will. Those are two good players. We need them down the stretch."
--The Bucs entered Sunday's game against Dallas having forced a turnover in 21 straight games, the longest active streak in the league. That ended against the Cowboys. "Sometimes you get turnovers, sometimes you don't," defensive coordinator Monte Kiffin said. "Those guys over there get paid, too. I think we played a pretty good game. But, yeah, it'd be nice to have four turnovers."
