--RB Carnell Williams benefited from the 16 carries he received in last week's 38-20 win at Detroit. Williams, who was coming off a torn patellar injury, averaged less than 2 yards per carry but his gain in confidence couldn't be measured in yards.
"I think that was really good for him," coach Jon Gruden said. "He had an opportunity to get successive plays and really play the game again. I just witnessed it on the practice field. He looked different. He looked better."
--The Bucs have three come-from-behind wins on the road this season: at Chicago, where they trailed by 10 in the fourth quarter; at Kansas City, where they trailed 24-3 in the first half; and at Detroit, where they trailed 17-9 in the first quarter.
"Last week, no one panicked," running back Warrick Dunn said. "We were down 17-0 and no one panicked. We just felt like we needed to play better and go out and execute. Once we started doing that, we were moving the football and making plays. We believe in each other, so we did show a lot of resiliency, believing we could turn it around and win the game."
--CB Aqib Talib, who was burned for a touchdown in his first NFL game by Saints WR David Patten, said he is much more relaxed and confident this time around.
"I learned a lot - stay deeper than the deepest," Talib said. "Definitely learned to stay deeper than the deepest. That's the main part. They thrive on that deep ball and those big plays, explosion plays. We've just got to try to prevent the explosion plays and then we'll see what happens."
BY THE NUMBERS: 7 - The number of touchdowns scored by the Bucs other than on offense, the second most in the NFL. That number includes four interception returns for scores.
